River Bottom Park is located just off the C&O Canal Towpath. This was the site of the original Potomac River ferry crossing at Williamsport. Today, River Bottom Park has a boat ramp to the Potomac for fishing, picnic tables, and open space for softball, kickball, or volleyball.

Cohill Station Boat Ramp is located near Hancock, Maryland. It is used to access the Potomac River. It is along the C&O Canal Towpath and near the Western Maryland Rail Trail. There is a small parking lot.

Camp Harding Park is a county park in Big Pool, Maryland. In addition to fishing and picnicking, Camp Harding also offers canoe access to Licking Creek. Parking and restrooms are available. No boat rental available.

Taylors Landing offers access to the C&O Canal, has a small parking area, restrooms, and a Boat Ramp.
