Hancock Visitor Center

Nestled along the C&O Canal towpath at milepost 123 in Hancock, Maryland is the Hancock Visitor Center. A great starting off point for hikers, bikers, and boaters, Hancock is a town in Western Maryland that offers direct access to both the C&O Canal and the Western Maryland Rail Trail. In addition to stores and restaurants, there are several large public parking areas, a boat ramp, and a bicycle sales and repair shop nearby in town.
