6 Kilometers is the average distance people in the developing world walk for water – water that is often contaminated with life-threatening diseases. On Saturday, May 16th, thousands of people from around the globe will walk or run 6K to bring life-changing clean water to communities in need. Each participant’s $50 registration fee provides life-changing clean water for one person, so when you participate in the Global 6K you take that distance away from people in need.
DATE: Saturday, May 16, 2020
TIME: 9:00 AM, please arrive by 8:30 to check in
LOCATION: Paramount Elementary School (19410 Longmeadow Rd, Hagerstown, MD 21742)
THIS SPRING, CHANGE A LIFE. Join thousands of people across the globe in our mission to bring life-changing clean water and fullness of life to children in communities around the world.
Walk, run, or push a stroller with us at the World Vision Global 6K for Water. Why 6 kilometers? It’s the average distance someone in the developing world had to walk for water every day. Each registration provides lasting clean water to a child, like the child on your race bib!
