Gathland State Park

Gathland State Park features the War Correspondent’s Arch, dedicated to the memory of Civil War correspondents, and offers access to the Appalachian Trail. Overnight parking is available to hikers by permit. The park also features a small museum and picnic pavilion. Nearby Greenbrier State Park also offers mountain biking trails, hiking, and boating.
