Walking for Wellness

Do you like to walk but do not have walking partners? Would you like to improve your health and wellbeing? Then these programs are for you! These hikes are designed to introduce new hikers to the physical and mental benefits of hiking and enjoyment of nature. Join us in a series of Appalachian Trail day hikes. We will walk to our destination using a leisurely pace, and after resting and enjoying the wonderful views, we will walk back to our departure site. 9 a.m. to noon.Hikes range from 3.7 to 6.0 miles round trip.
Bring snacks/lunch, plenty of water, sunscreen, insect repellent and wear comfortable walking shoes.
