SUMMARY:The Great Bicycle Tour of the C&O Canal
DESCRIPTION:A fully supported four-day ride on the C&O Canal. Join us as we begin in Cumberland\, MD and ride to Mile Marker 0 in Washington\, DC. 184.5 miles of no hills\, no headwinds and no cars. Plenty of food\, lots of support\, ride at your own pace\, well organized. This is the 34th annual benefit ride for San Mar Family and Community Services\, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that maintains national accreditation and has provided services to children\, families\, and the community every day since November 8\, 1883! Learn more about our important work online at sanmarhope.org. \nTHE RIDE INCLUDES  \n\nTransportation by charter bus to the start of the C&O Canal.\nAll meals and snacks.\nFree parking for your vehicle throughout the event.\nRest stops every ten to fifteen miles.\nCamp fees paid for the first two nights or transportation to nearby hotels.\nHotel on the third night.\nTransport of all gear throughout the event.\nT-shirt and a TGBT keepsake.\nReturn to your vehicle by charter bus from Georgetown at end of the event.\nA lifetime memory.\n\nThis ride benefits San Mar Family & Community Services. All registered riders commit to fundraising minimums as detailed under Event Info.

SUMMARY:2021 Hagerstown Sprint Triathlon and 5K Run #2
DESCRIPTION:Precautions will be taken to ensure proper CDC\, State and Local agency COVID protocol. Wave format will be established to ensure proper social distancing. Details will be communicated when we get closer to the event and have real-time restrictions to guide our COVID Mitigation plan. \nDescription: This “sprint” distance Triathlon\, designed for all levels\, will start and end at Halfway Park in Hagerstown\, MD…..just 25 minutes from Frederick\, MD and 90 minutes from Baltimore and DC. This is a great course for the beginner or the experienced triathlete who wants to go fast! We will host the Hagerstown Youth Triathlon and Hagerstown 5K Run #2 during this weekend.
